⚡ A Week Full of Energy
What a whirlwind of a week! Since Captain Rainbow Dash reclaimed her rank, the Academy’s skies have never been busier. It’s as if nothing — and nopony — could stop her momentum.
Even while working IRL, she somehow finds the time to rebuild our brand-new Wonderbolts Academy from the ground up! The Handbook Lessons are now officially available in the Library, the Gala is making its grand return, the Wondercafé Academy gatherings are back in full swing, and of course — the trainings continue to fill the skies with determination.
That’s the Wonderbolts Academy I love to see! 💙
🕊 The Captain’s Transformation
Since she returned to the head of the Academy, Captain Dash has been inspiring everypony to dive back into the adventure. And honestly? She’s changed.
Let’s be real for a moment — she wasn’t exactly the best Captain back before the old WBA dissolved and split from the WBU. That drama shook us all. But she’s done some serious self-reflection since then. It’s incredible to see how much she’s grown.
I’m seeing again the Captain I signed up for when I first joined the Wonderbolts as the Academy’s writer — not the bundle of nerves who used to snap at the smallest thing.
Sorry, Captain — my words are blunt and maybe a little harsh, but that’s journalism: telling things as they are. I hope you’ll forgive me for writing this truth.
🏅 Promotions and Fun Highlights
Now, onto some amazing news: Kirbybot Pie has finally earned the rank of Sergeant!
One of the founding members of the old WBA, they’ve finally gathered enough points to soar higher. A well-deserved promotion for a loyal and hard-working bolt!
And as for our dear Sergeant Ice Shard, they keep switching roles faster than a sonic rainboom — community manager one day, trainer the next. We’ve started calling them “The Indecisive Shard.” (Do they even change their flight suit as often as their role? 😏)
We’ve also seen some familiar cadet names back in the lineup: Quill Pen and Hadrian! Both have been incredibly active lately — and at this rate, I wouldn’t be surprised to see them earn their wings faster than we can say “Altius Volantis!”
