🌅 A Fresh Breeze Over the Academy
A warm gust of laughter and mischief swept through the training grounds tonight as the Wonderbolts Academy hosted another high-flying evening of drills, mentorship, and honest-to-Celestia chaos. With the Ringlet formation set as the night’s focus, SAP Rainbow Dash led a spirited (and hilariously wobbly) session, welcoming new cadets into the rhythm of the sky.
🏃 Warmups, Wobbles & Wingups
Training opened with Dashie’s Introduction Station, where red, yellow, green, and blue mats awaited… but surprise! They were set up backwards. Cue laughter. Cue chaos. Cue one iconic save:
— “Tulip’s joke!” chuckled Dash.
Flappy jacks led into squatzees, and somehow everypony came out stronger and smiling.
🔁 Ringlets in Motion
Next up? Formation flying. The ringlet was the focus, with seasoned fliers like Reaching Heights stepping in to demo alongside Dash. New cadets were invited to follow the pony in front of them — and while not every line was perfect, the spirit of the squad was.
— “It wasn’t bad for a first time,” said Dash. “And really not bad for a first first time.”
🐣 Rookie Wings, Big Hearts
Among the standout recruits were Silver Luna, Chitterberry, and Stormspeed, all braving their first training flight. From colorblind hiccups to unfamiliar maneuvers, they faced the skies head-on. Silver Luna, navigating her condition with a smile, delighted everypony when she explained:
“Orange is brown and easy to see.”
The squad rallied around her, even transforming the flyway into a fruit salad of learning — with shapes like lemons, pears, and apples helping turn confusion into clarity.
🏁 Relays, Zoomies & Bonus Sprints
The relay races brought speed, strategy, and a lot of giggles. Signs marked flight ↑ and run ↓ zones, and a few slip-ups (like Chitterberry’s flight-over-run moment) led to disqualifications — but nopony flew solo. Every mistake turned into a moment of learning and cheering.
Bonus? A Free-For-All sprint for extra points.
Winner? Starlight, with wings of fire and heart of gold.
💤 One Last Bounce
As the stars blinked overhead, Dash closed training with a warm farewell.
— “Y’all so awesome we finish 10 mins early tonight.”
— “Altius Sleepitus,” she joked.
