Another day of feathers, flightpaths, and full-speed flirtations at the Wonderbolts Academy.
🌤️ Arrival, Wings, and Warmups
The training began as all good stories do—with a roll call, a wing stretch, and a warmup. Cadets were lively and quick to form ranks as AP Candace laid out the structure: four color-coded stations—burpees, flappy jacks, squats, and pushups—rotating at her command.
A few of us were getting into position when Rainbow Dash asked for a quick AFK pause:
—“Can I ptso? I need to afk rq (5/10mn)”
—“Yes,” replied Candace.
Classic start. Organized chaos. Just the way we like it. 🌈
🌀 Sonic Rainboom Formation: Fast and a Little Flustered
Then came the flight formation—a classic Wonderbolt move known as the Sonic Rainboom.
Candace broke it down: inner circle flyers move slow, outer circle flyers bolt fast.
Simple, right? Well… not at first.
A bit of color confusion, mid-explanation DCs, and one pretty big moment of mix-up led to Tulip politely PTS-ing twice before being acknowledged. When they finally got their question through, Candace apologized and reclarified the role of each group. Magma caught a contradiction and called it out. The air was thick with PTSs and clarification requests.
It was messy. But it was our kind of messy. 💛

We were back on track.
🏁 Relay Races and Ridiculousness
Race time.
Teams split, flight suits adjusted, and everypony took off in relays. And that’s where the feathers really hit the fan.
Reaching Heights crossed the line just ahead of Rainbow Dash and teased:
—“How was my dust?”
To which Dash—deadpan, shameless, and iconic—replied:
—“I let you win. I was only staring on your butt~~”
⚠️ BREAKING: I dropped my clipboard. Scootaloo panicked.
And I quote:
—“Dashie don’t say that around the Bolts!”
Meanwhile, Celine was melting into a soft giggle and everypony else pretended they didn’t hear that.
(They did. We all did.)
🔥 Fireflies and Faux-Pas
As races continued, a few hiccups emerged. Ender accidentally skipped the firefly obstacle and had to redo his round—taking it like a pro. Prism reminded everypony:
—“Don’t walk at the fire fly!”
A helpful pointer, and it kept things smooth going forward. There was so much mutual support this round. Celine doubted herself. Celestia hesitated. Luv freaked out in VC. But still—everyone pushed on.
Ender nailed the redo. Celestia pulled through. The crowd erupted in tiny emojis and proud nicknames.
💬 Cookie Class: Knowing Your Role
Class wrapped things up, and it was time to dig into the lesson: Knowing Your Role.
Ponies raised hooves and answered questions from the Academy hoofbook with sharp minds and sincere hearts. Magma, Dash, Prism, Celine, Fluttershy, Ender, Wave… Everypony contributed. Candace handed out snacks like party favors for every correct answer.
—“What’s more important than just flying fast at the Academy?”
—“Being an effective teammate.” —Prism Dust ✅🍪
The final cheer?
The full regimental roar of the Wonderbolts creed:
—“ALTIUS VOLANTIS! SOARING HIGHER!”
(Some ponies screamed it nine times. Lime Berry, I’m looking at you.)
💙 Skydrop’s Final Thoughts
Warmups were intense. Formations had hiccups. Races were spicy. The class? A blast.
But what hit me hardest was how much love there was in the air. Tulip sticking around despite connection drops. Reaching, Dash, and Celine bantering like old friends at recess. Ender redoing a whole race without complaint.
No matter the chaos, we kept flying together. And that’s what really counts. 🕊️
