The First Wondercafé Academy

The speech of the host

Second Lieutenant Rainbow Dash

Cadets, Enlisted, Officers,

This event is not here to add drama on top of drama.
You are asked to stay cordial and respectful.

Even though some still choose to hold hatred toward me, the organization of Test Lab events is not made in a context of conflict, but in a context of peace.

So thank you — if you came here to express anger or hate, please leave right now, because you are not welcome under those conditions.

Now…

Welcome to the first Wondercafé Academy of the “After” WBA.

First of all, I want to clear things up and answer the big question everypony’s been wondering about:
Will there be a Version 3 — or a rebirth of the WBA as it once was?

For now, nothing is certain.
The fear of leading a group is still there, but after talking with my friends and colleagues, every single one of them told me the same thing:
It would be a waste not to keep sharing my skills.

I made mistakes in the old WBA — I won’t deny it.
We all acted on emotions back then.
We all said and did things we deeply regret.

The WBA made me happy, but as time went on, I started to disagree more and more with the decisions of other officers.
Add to that my health problems, my anger issues… and it didn’t help.

Should I have stopped sooner? Maybe.
But it wouldn’t have avoided the drama that followed anyway.
And today… we’ve split apart.

There’s now a “democratic” WBA, based on votes and shared decisions — a WBA where I’m currently banned — and there’s our test lab.
Will our lab become another fork of the WBA?
I don’t know. Maybe it will.

At first, I didn’t want that.
But seeing how motivated you all are, how you’ve adapted despite the split, yes — I want to be involved again.
I want to feel that spark of leadership again, like last year, when I created Version 1.

Because this Wondercafé Academy isn’t just the first one of the “After WBA” era — it’s also the anniversary of the WBA itself.

From the bottom of my heart — thank you.
To all of you. Even those who chose to fly their own way in the other fork.
Thank you.

Now, enjoy this chill moment together.
Altius Volantis!
